According to my reckoning the Beach reunion is a mere month away.  I thought I’d start a thread about what the plans might be….

For the locals:

Are there any activities planned that weekend at the Beach?

It there any pier tag scheduled?  Can we get access to play before the general public?  I have been in training for months.

Is anyone volunteering their home for a game of Zoom Schwartz?  I’ll buy the beer.  I have again been in training for months.

For those coming from out of town:

Who from afar is coming in and when might you be arriving?

Is there a hotel of choice?  If not, I would propose the Marriot Courtyard on Diehl Road.

Is anyone bringing kids?  I have two (11 and 15) and might be able to entice them to accompany me if they didn’t have to listen to me drone on about my youth.

Hoping to hear back.

My family and I (husband, Greg and kids, Matt & Jack: 4.5 and Elizabeth: 2.5) are coming in for a few days for the event and to see friends and Chicago. We'll probably be bunking with Sarah Nadelhoffer and/or Laurie Nadelhoffer and families. I have not seen the Beach since guarding in '77. Doubtful I'll attempt pier tag though Zoom Schwartz is tempting. Can't wait to see who all shows up. We're coming from California...anyone else from out west?

My wife Lisa and I will be in town for the weekend of the July 8th. I will be staying at my parent’s house and of course we’re always up for a midnight dip or a bonfire. I worked at the Beach from ‘85 to ’92. I hope all can get together.
